Common questions
It's okay to have questions first.
Yes. Completely. There is never a cost to talk to an advocate, get connected to help, or be part of the alliance. We're funded so you don't have to be.
Yes. Your information is protected, and we follow strict confidentiality rules. Before any of your details are shared with another partner organization, you'll be asked to sign a consent form — so you'll always know what's being shared, with whom, and why. You can also stop sharing or pull your consent at any time.
Not at all. The first form is short. Beyond that, you share only what you're comfortable sharing, when you're comfortable sharing it. The conversation moves at your pace.
There's nothing to qualify for. There are no income limits, paperwork tests, or hoops to jump through just to start a conversation. Reach out — your advocate will help figure out what's available and what fits your situation.
No. We're a community organization, not a government agency. Reaching out to us doesn't trigger any kind of report, investigation, or status check. We're here to help you, period.
Yes. You're welcome to call us directly during business hours and we will help guide you in the process.
That's welcome too — friends, family, neighbors, teachers, pastors, case workers all reach out on behalf of someone they care about. Just let us know in the form, and we'll handle the next step gently.
Whenever you're
ready, we're here.
It takes courage to ask for help. Whether today, next week, or whenever feels right—the door stays open.
